doesn’t have to be daunting.
Justin Wangler believes in balance. As the chef for
Kendall-Jackson Winery, he’s an expert at pairing food
and wine, creating a perfect harmony of tastes. Yet he’s
known for simple foods, humble recipes, and honest
preparations—a combination that he also strives to deliver
every Thanksgiving at home. For the last few years, Justin
and his wife, Ceanne, have celebrated their favorite
holiday by welcoming loved ones to an enormous feast
at their tiny bungalow in California.
“It’s one of the only days of the year when we all really
slow down and purposefully stop and consider what we
have to be thankful for,” says Justin, who this year is most
grateful for the baby girl that he and Ceanne are expecting
soon. “And then, there’s the food. I have to admit, I love
that the entire day revolves around enjoying a meal with
those you love.”
